The Darling Oyster Bar, a King Street restaurant scheduled to open in early 2016, has offered a sneak peek at its menu.
The restaurant offered up a look at some of its “specialty dishes”:
Snapper Toast with potato, pickled red onion, and country ham on sourdough
Shellfish Pot Pie with lobster, shrimp and root vegetables. Served with a green salad
Oyster spaghetti that pairs a lemon caper butter sauce with oysters, breadcrumbs, celery root, and bacon
A fried flounder recipe that “anchors a collection of sandwiches”
The Darling Oyster Bar will also include a street side raw bar featuring oysters, crab, shrimp, clams, and other seasonal offerings. Plus, the restaurant’s bar program will be created by Icebox founder Boris Van Dyke.
