A whole bunch of restaurant openings to look forward to in 2016
January 4th | Charleston City Paper
It’s barely 2016 and already there’s a damn mezze platter worth of restaurant news to report.
To start: Hank’s has been sold while Brasserie Gigi and A.W. Shucks have closed. The possibility of changes over at Hank Holliday’s Hank’s and Gigi’s had been circulating for months, but now we know that Hank’s (along with DoubleTree Inn) was sold to Ohio real estate firm Rockbridge. Holliday nor Hank’s chef Frank McMahon have returned our calls, but according to the Post & Courier, McMahon will consult on Hank’s during the transition in ownership.
